Black Bear Bungalow
Escape to this peaceful mountain retreat designed for comfort, connection, and a little bit of magic outdoors. From slow mornings on the screened porch to evenings spent under twinkling lights by the fire, this home offers the perfect setting to unwind and recharge.
Inside, the home comfortably accommodates up to four guests across two inviting bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a king bed, while the second offers a queen—both thoughtfully appointed with smart TVs and ceiling fans for added comfort. A shared full bathroom on the main level includes a shower and tub combination, making it convenient for all guests.
The main level is designed with both relaxation and gathering in mind, offering two separate living areas so everyone has space to spread out. One of the standout features is the beautiful stone gas fireplace, creating a cozy focal point for quiet evenings in. Whether you're watching your favorite show or enjoying a conversation by the fire, the layout makes it easy to feel at home. Every bedroom and living area is equipped with a smart TV, so entertainment is always within reach.
The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from quick breakfasts to full holiday meals, featuring double ovens, an electric stovetop, and a Keurig Duo that offers both single-serve and full pot brewing options. It’s a functional and welcoming space whether you’re cooking together or simply enjoying a cup of coffee before heading out for the day.
Downstairs, you’ll find an additional living area that opens directly to the lower patio, along with a second bathroom and a washer and dryer for added convenience during your stay. This level provides a great secondary hangout space, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
Where this home truly shines, though, is in its outdoor spaces. The screened-in back porch offers rocking chairs and a swing bench, creating a peaceful spot to enjoy the fresh mountain air without the bugs. Just off the porch, an uncovered deck with a grill makes outdoor cooking easy and enjoyable. Down on the lower patio, a private hot tub and swing seating invite you to relax and unwind at any time of day.
The backyard is a true highlight and sets this property apart. A custom-built waterfall flows into a koi pond, creating a serene and almost storybook-like setting. Nearby, a fire pit surrounded by seating and café lights transforms the space at night into something truly special—perfect for gathering, sharing stories, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of the mountains.
Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, a peaceful escape, or a weekend with friends, this home offers a balance of comfort, charm, and unforgettable outdoor living.
